How can customers leave tips and gratuities through the card terminal?

For customers to leave a tip directly through the PAX terminal during the transaction, follow the steps below based on your terminal type. 

1. Tap on the looping arrow (bottom right corner) and the Payment method page will open.
2. Select the Sale and tip option to add a tip to the payment amount.
3. Enter the amount of the transaction.
4. On the Tip menu, you have the option to select a tip as a percentage of the total amount, as a custom flat amount or to skip this stage altogether (depending on your pre-selected settings). The tip will automatically be added to the total amount.
5. Click Continue.
6. Insert or tap the customer’s card to finalise the transaction.
