How do I start a transaction on my terminal?

To start a transaction at your PAX terminal, follow the steps below.

1. Open the Payment app from the main menu of the terminal.
2. Enter the transaction amount and click on the green Charge button.
3. Give the terminal to the customer.
4. Ask the customer to tap, insert or swipe their card at the terminal.
5. A message displaying “Authorised” confirms that the transaction has been successful.
6. Once the transaction is complete, choose to print customer receipt, print merchant receipt or send a digital receipt to the customer.
