If your PAX terminal isn’t connecting to a mobile network (3G or 4G), follow the steps below.
- Restart the terminal.
- Check the SIM card.
- Remove the back cover from the terminal.
- Make sure the SIM is inserted correctly.
- If it looks misaligned, remove and reinsert it.
- Set the APN.
- Go to terminal Settings (cogwheel) and enter the password: pax9876@@ or 9876.
- Tap More → Mobile Networks → Access Point Names.
- Tap + and enter this APN: MAVOCO.
- Tap the three-dot → Menu → Save.
- Change the network type (if needed).
- Go to terminal Settings (cogwheel) and enter the password: pax9876@@ or 9876.
- Tap More → Mobile Networks.
- Tap Preferred Network Type and try another option. (Steps may vary slightly depending on your PAX model)
- Connect to a network manually.
- Go to terminal Settings (cogwheel) and enter the password: pax9876@@ or 9876.
- Tap More → Mobile Networks → Network Operators.
- Let the terminal scan and select a network manually.
If the issue continues, contact Helpdesk for support and mention your terminal model and SIM provider for quicker support.
