Follow the steps below to resolve the PAX terminal slowness.
- Restart the terminal.
- Power it off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
- Update terminal software.
- Open the MAXSTORE or PAXSTORE app from the main menu of the terminal, depending on which store your device supports.
- Tap the menu icon (top left).
- Select Firmware Update.
- Tap Check Update and follow the steps if an update is available.
- Check network performance.
- Check if other devices on the same network are also slow. If they are, the issue may be with your internet connection.
- If possible, switch between Wi-Fi and 4G to test for improved performance.
- Switch to another SIM or network if possible.
- Clear the app cache.
- Go to terminal Settings (cogwheel) and enter the password: pax9876@@ or 9876.
- Tap Apps → Payments → Storage.
- Tap Clear Cache or Clear Data if needed.
