To begin accepting American Express (Amex) payments, follow the steps below to ensure your terminal is properly configured.
- Make sure you have an Amex Merchant ID (MID) from your Amex acquirer.
- Send your Amex MID to your reseller or contact Helpdesk.
- Allow a few business days for the MID to be added to your terminal setup.
Note: Amex settlements are handled by your Amex acquirer.
